We continue our tour of Ukraine with a few days in the Carpathian Mountains, using Yaramche as our base. The Carpathian Mountains slice through the southwest corner of Ukraine, and as we love a mountain and the scenery we took a train from Kyiv to Ivano-Frankivsk before hiring a car to drive into the mountains. You can watch our overnight train ride on another of the videos in this series. Yaremche and some of the roads to get to the town were awful! The local area has much to offer, sadly the weather was not on our side and we had rain, snow and overcast conditions for much of our time there. The town has a few nice restaurants, a waterfall and did I mentions some of the roads are terrible!
